AR Performance(ARP) 5.56 Scout is a medium weight profile with a slightly different taper to stiffen the barrel. Chambered in 223 Wylde, shoots 223 and 556 ammo and is more accurate. Melonite treated barrels have shown to last 30% longer than chrome lined barrels and twice as long as stainless while being more corrosion resistant.
